The paranormal cannot be as fascinating as during the Halloween festive...the dark magic speaks out for itself...unfortunately the mystic side of it is drowning away like most festivals...either turning out to commercial use or as a routine....
Where is the real magic of Halloween going....true in Mauritius we don’t really celebrate it still I am a big fan of paranormal and urban legends... as I mentioned above Halloween is nowadays associated to either the costumes, the Halloween theme party and the traditional trick-or-treating or decorating your home into one of those dark theme....fascinating yes but still the real significance is missing....
Halloween has so pagan origins I would say Celtics where they believe during that night the door or boundary to the living and dead is opened and they can then roamed freely during that special night....
So the Celts put in front of their door the pumpkins and skeletons so as to frighten those evil spirit...but the best thing during that night is to sit with friends and share some scary urban legend stories or make a trip to a cemetery or to a suppose haunted place.....
